Central Illinois Pickleball Club Endowment Fund
Building community through pickleball...Today and for generations to come.
Pickleball has quickly become one of the fastest-growing sports in the country—and here in Central Illinois, that growth is being shaped by a passionate group of players committed to something bigger than the game itself.
The Central Illinois Pickleball Club was established in 2024 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a clear purpose: to bring people together through instruction, organized play, and social connection for players of all ages and skill levels.
From beginners picking up a paddle for the first time to experienced players seeking competition, the Club creates opportunities for everyone to engage, improve, and belong.
But the vision goes even further.
Growing the Game—and the Community
The Central Illinois Pickleball Club is more than just a place to play. It serves as a coordinating force for pickleball across the region—organizing clinics, leagues, tournaments, and social events while also working alongside park districts and community partners to expand access to the sport.
The Club is also a unified voice for the local pickleball community—advocating for improved facilities, listening to player feedback, and helping shape the future of the sport throughout Central Illinois.
At its core, the mission is simple but powerful:
to foster community, promote healthy activity, and create meaningful connections through pickleball.
Why an Endowment Fund Matters
The Central Illinois Pickleball Club Endowment Fund ensures that this momentum continues—not just today, but forever.
Through the Morton Community Foundation, this endowed fund provides a permanent source of support to help:
• Offer instructional programs and clinics for all skill levels
• Create inclusive events and leagues that bring people together
• Support youth engagement and introduce new players to the game
• Strengthen partnerships with local organizations and park districts
Because the fund is endowed, it will generate annual grants to CIPC—year after year—helping sustain and grow the impact of the Club well into the future.
A Lasting Impact
Pickleball is uniquely positioned to bring people together. It crosses generations, builds friendships, and creates a sense of belonging in a way few activities can.
With the creation of the Central Illinois Pickleball Club Endowment Fund, donors now have the opportunity to be part of something lasting—supporting not just a sport, but a vibrant and growing community.
Be Part of the Movement
Gifts of any size can help grow this endowment and expand opportunities for players across Central Illinois.
Together, we can ensure that the connections, energy, and community built through pickleball continue for generations to come.
